The bucolic beauty of the Mayenne river is on full display in this charming poster. The small town of Sainte-Suzanne, located in northwestern France, is singled out for its old-world village and charm.
The region that follows the La Mayenne riverbed is still today considered a quieter part of France. Mostly rural, the region boasts fresh produce from local farms, fly-fishing, and woodworking. This poster was created for the Chemins de Fer de l’Etat, a national railway that serviced France.
