Advertisement for dark beer Bock in the Auerbach Cellar. This is the most famous and one of the oldest restaurants in Leipzig, operating since the 15th century. And the restaurant is famous thanks to the name of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who was a frequent visitor. The writer made this wine bar (at that time) the scene of the first part of “Faust”.

The poster itself is drawn from the painting “In Auerbachs Keller” by Eduard von Grützner.
