In 1914, the LVZ opened the St. Annahof, a huge department store in a prestigious district of Zurich. The traditional way of presentation and sales practiced there underwent radical changes after the Second World War. Self-service appeared.
The department store is located at Bahnhofstrasse 57. Today, the building has the status of an architectural monument.
