Description
It is advertising the newly opened Hotel Touring on Ochsengasse street, Basel. In 1982 the modern hotel building had to make way for the Migros Claramarkt.

Werner Koch completed an apprenticeship as a glass painter with Emil Schäfer during the years 1903 to 1906 and studied at the Gewerbeschule in Basel. His artistic work includes southern landscapes, genre scenes, figure paintings, and following 1919, decorative compositions influenced by Symbolism, Japonism and Art Nouveau.
